Collection: OUR HERITAGE
The Coffee Grove's roots trace back to our family gatherings in Buffalo, NY, where friends, relatives, and military family would come together, especially after my father’s retirement from the military. Our home was always filled with food, laughter, and a sense of togetherness, which earned the name “The Grove.” These moments became the core of our family’s bond.
As time passed, we lost some of those cherished family members, but the memories of those gatherings stayed strong. My mother worked tirelessly at Tim Hortons, where she was beloved by her customers. I used to tell her, “One day, I’ll open my own coffee shop so you can relax,” and she’d smile. Sadly, in 2015, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and passed away in January 2016. After her passing, I felt more determined than ever to make that coffee shop dream a reality in her honor.
In 2022, my younger brother and I decided to finally move forward with the idea. The Coffee Grove’s logo is a tribute to our family’s journey—my father’s love for cooking, my mother’s strength, and the resilience we’ve shared. The eucalyptus represents healing, while the bonsai symbolizes the strength gained through life’s struggles, much like the traditions that held our family together.
In January 2024, my brother passed away. He was ready to stand by me when The Coffee Grove opened, determined to get it done. His legacy of devotion and perseverance lives on in this place.
We’ve been part of the coffee world since 2005, gaining experience in coffee equipment repair and more. With the support of friends and family since moving to Florida in 2004, The Coffee Grove has become a reality. It’s more than just a coffee shop—it’s a tribute to our family’s legacy, a place to share the warmth, connection, and traditions that brought us together. Every cup honors our loved ones and celebrates the moments that truly matter.
